In a 2022 needs assessment:

- 82% of surveyed NEK Human Service Providers stated their interest in a warmline

- 58% of surveyed NEK community members stated their interest in a warmline

Why a Warmline?

- To address the rural nature of the NEK - sometimes people need support and can not get to an office or a group, etc.

- To address the reality that law enforcement and the criminal justice system are not always safe options for people who have or are causing harm but who still need support
